The Valley of Dry Bones The hand of the Lord was on me, and he brought me out by the Spirit of the Lord and set me in the middle of a valley; it was full of bones. 2 He led me back and forth among them, and I saw a great many bones on the floor of the valley, bones that were very dry. 3 He asked me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” I said, “Sovereign Lord, you alone know.” 4 Then he said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, ‘Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! 5 This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life. 6 I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the Lord.’” 7 So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I was prophesying, there was a noise, a rattling sound, and the bones came together, bone to bone. 8 I looked, and tendons and flesh appeared on them and skin covered them, but there was no breath in them. 9 Then he said to me, “Prophesy to the breath; prophesy, son of man, and say to it, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Come, breath, from the four winds and breathe into these slain, that they may live.’” 10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood up on their feet—a vast army. 11 Then he said to me: “Son of man, these bones are the people of Israel. They say, ‘Our bones are dried up and our hope is gone; we are cut off.’ 12 Therefore prophesy and say to them: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: My people, I am going to open your graves and bring you up from them; I will bring you back to the land of Israel. 13 Then you, my people, will know that I am the Lord, when I open your graves and bring you up from them. 14 I will put my Spirit in you and you will live, and I will settle you in your own land. Then you will know that I the Lord have spoken, and I have done it, declares the Lord.’” Ezekiel 37: 1-14 What a powerful picture the above scripture creates. This scripture is alive and active, it also shows what God has done for me. I am a broken person, from a broken family, in a broken world brought back to a new life by the breath of God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit. He alone heals me, He is the great counselor. When I am rejected by people, He doesn’t reject me. He desires a relationship with me. This is where I get the “Splashing a Sea Breeze on Dry Land.” I am landlocked, however I love the majesty of the sea. It reminds me that I am not in control, that God is. The dry land represents the hurting in this world, the “dry bones” which come to life with the breath of God. I simply want to share what God has done for me and He can do it for you too. When all have rejected you, God takes you just as you are. You won’t stay the same, He will change you in a gentle and loving way. As you walk with Him, He makes you more like Himself. God made me an artist. I thrive on creating things that are different. All glory and honor to God for anything good that comes out of me. I have spent most of my life hiding, with low self esteem, and allowing the enemy to dictate who I am. God has been walking me in healing and blinders are falling off of my eyes. I have tried to fit in and hide the parts of me that make me different. God has shown me that my purpose is to be who He created me to be. I have a passion for the Lord. He is everything to me. He sees me, He heals me, He loves me, He created things for me to do before I was born, He is my strength, He is my shepherd, He is my refuge, He is my encouragement, He is the lover of my soul. He is Life! There is a lot of feeling that goes into what I make, into the patterns I create. Each time I create a new pattern, I learn more and more. I put a lot of time and care into creating the patterns. I have a lot of video tutorials linked in my patterns that I’ve made to help you. It is important to me to work as unto God. I try to create with integrity, honesty and love. I am not a perfect person, mistakes are a part of life. Praise the Lord, I am forgiven in Jesus.
